Education: National Core Arts Standards Approved for 2017-18

On February 16, the Vermont State Board of Education adopted the National Core Arts Standards (NCAS) for the 2017-2018 school year. Arts and education stakeholders across the state–including members of the Vermont Curriculum Leaders Association, the Vermont Art Teachers Association, the Vermont Music Teachers Association, and the Vermont Principals Association–advocated for this change.
